Fixed what wasn't broken and left broken what needed to be fixed! Still has great land battles!
As much as I love the new style of warfare and the large battles that keep fans coming back for more, I am utterly shocked at how much Creative Assembly has changed the campaign map. I loved the campaign map from Rome an... Read Full Review

Still a good game but very inconsistent in places. Performance HOG! Sea Battles? Meh... Battle Map

Empire: Total War is, without a doubt, the worst Total War game made. That, of course, doesn't mean it isn't good.
The highly rated Total War series has expanded from the ancient world to the medieval world, and now to the 18th century. The scope of the game is massive. Over half of the Earth is covered in surprising detail. In the g... Read Full Review

Not only do the insane amount of performance bugs make it nearly impossible to play, but the game is terrible in itself.
I've never been disappointed with a game like I have with empire total war. I spent months getting a super computer to play this game (exagerration), and I spent hours trying to get the game to start properly. When I got... Read Full Review

I started Empire: Total War without having played any of the previous Total War so I did have a tremendous amount of learning to do before I even started to have fun. The game is very complex but surprisingly little... Read Full Review

You must Update! Unpatched versions may start to repeatedly crash on you at some point.
Empire: Total War is everything it was cracked up to be - and less. When it's working, it is a beautiful game. It's scope is vast, allowing players to play as the fledgling American Colonies or to try their hand at con... Read Full Review
