It's nearly impossible for me to decide, but any of the following 3 games would work: 1) Doom (1993) for the PC 2) Resident Evil 4 (2005) for the Gamecube 3) Fallout 3 (2008) for the Xbox 360

It depends on the genre of game. In a 2D platformer I don't need realistic graphics or sound effects, but in war-based FPS games or driving sims, the more realistic the better! Overall, though, gameplay is the most important thing. If the gameplay is either broken or boring, it doesn't matter how excellent the presentation may be.

...more seriously, though, probably Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube.

No. They're both flawed systems, but I think it boils down to personal preference. The N64 has a mediocre controller and a serious lack of good RPG's, but otherwise it's one of the best consoles ever made - it was innovative, it had tons of timeless FPS and 3D platforming games, and it had cartridges (which are awesome in my opinion). I never liked the touch controls on the DS, and I think the system had way too many crappy shovelware releases. It did have good RPG and 2D platformer support, though, so I would say that it's a great system as well. Just not quite up there with the N64.

I don't think so. There's just so many games out there on platforms I don't even own - I've hardly even scratched the surface on the consoles I DO own! That said, my rate of collecting has been exceptionally high lately, and I think I need to take a break for a little bit and actually play all the games I've purchased recently! LOL :P

No, you're not. Kinect pretty much IS garbage. It's fine I guess for casual gamers and whatnot, but I have yet to see the day where they manage to make a groundbreaking gaming experience with such a peripheral.

NO. Gameplay will always be the most important thing when playing a game, and graphics are a mere afterthought. Some games (like DOOM on the Super Nintendo, for example) have visuals that make the game nearly unplayable, but aside from game-breaking graphics, nice visuals are usually just an added bonus.

(Aside from the top 3, no particular order) 1. Doom 2. Doom II 3. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 4. Quake 2 5. Duke Nukem 3D 6. Wolfenstein 7. Doom 64 8. Wolfenstein 3D 9. Halo 2 10. Goldeneye 007 That's a really rough list, though - I'm probably forgetting a few, and the order is pretty sketchy.

The SP is always my weapon of choice when talking about Game Boy games. That thing just rules.
