This is only at the moment, though. There have been lots of great albums like the newest releases from Spawn of Possession, Echolyn, The Flower Kings, Napalm Death, Primal Fear, and Hemina that are also worth mentioning.
[QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"]All of them why would you play doom on a console? The XBLA port is perfect IMO, and the version included with the limited edition of Doom 3 for Xbox also works really well. I'd much rather play Doom in one of these ways than messing around with DOSbox.
I'm playing Super Mario 64 right now. I love almost everything about the game (the level design, graphics, music, objective-based platforming, etc.), but the controls are pretty sketchy at times. The camera is especially painful.
I haven't played all of them, though the worst seems to be the one on SNES. Of course, Doom never should've been ported to the machine in the first place, but I found this version nearly unplayable. It's difficult to see things that are ten feet in front of you, the controls are sluggish, and everything looks incredibly pixelated.
In my opinion, yes. The system's library stands incredibly tall by itself, but the additional backwards compatibility with GB and GBC carts makes it even better. I would probably need to buy a PSP before I could give a definitive answer, though.
N64 gets a slight edge IMO. The Gamecube has a much better controller and quite a few amazing exclusives, but I think the N64 is the more innovative system and it also has more exclusive classics - Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros., Doom 64, Majora's Mask, Banjo Kazooie, the list goes on...
