This could be because of Zelda, because the crying over the 8.8 could just be rounded to a 9.0.hendrix29

...or an 8.5.

Of course, we aren't going back and touching the old scores as a part of this, so I guess we'll never know, will we?

For reviews of identical 25 year old games, Gamespot really needs to get some level of editorial consistency.  I can't imagine it being a problem for either Frank or Jeff to handle two reviews of Xevious, since it really is a short and simple game.

Actually, the games are anything but identical. The Wii got the NES version, which totally sucks. The 360 got the arcade version, which is still kind of cool.

My collection is only games that I own, not all the games I've ever owned. I use it to keep track of what, exactly, I have, because I don't have room to store all of it in a displayable fashion.

This will probable get deleted but is this true? Seems from many different sites, it is. Here are just two : www.extremetech.comwww.infosatellite.comRPG_Ash

That wasn't true in 2002 (when those stories were written). On top of that, the download manager we're currently using is a completely different piece of software. So not only is that info incorrect, it's also completely out of date.

Sorry that you took that as an attack. I was merely suggesting a place where he could find like-minded individuals. Much like sports fans that get so into it that they refer to their favorite team as "we," fans of game consoles should probably take a step back, calm down, and realize that every console, regardless of the games and the business behind them, is run by a corporation that wants one thing: your money. This sort of brand loyalty and needless bickering is just a waste of everyone's time, and the console makers are laughing all the way to the bank. So I advise everyone caught in that trap to look beyond the systems they, personally, own, and maybe think about the big picture for a change. If you think that any of the three current console systems are "perfect," then you're glossing over some very real problems. All we did is point out some of the things that the PS3 (which has been steadily improving) should do to get to the next level. Are you going to sit there and tell me that the lack of an invite system that works across all games is a good thing? Or that it's "no big deal" that a system that costs one to two hundred dollars more than its cloesest competition is putting out games that don't look as good as those of the other console? Xbox 360s are breaking left and right, and the concept of post-release patches is in full swing, meaning developers are starting ship broken games. And the Wii? Well, I'm dying to play Super Paper Mario, but friend codes for online games? Seriously? Especially game-specific ones? A bad idea just waiting to ship in a English-speaking territory near you. The PS3 is on its way to solving most, if not all of its issues. And it'll get there sooner or later. As a PS3 owner, I'd rather see Sony focus on fixing the stuff we mentioned and let the big, crazy avatar cyberworld thing simmer until then, but hey, they're a big company, they can probably do both simultaneously. As they say, only time will tell. Just remember... around this time last year, we were also telling people that they probably don't want a 360 yet. The PS3 is young. It'll get where it needs to get to.

After Sony's victory at GDC, this article just suddenly popped up. I question their intention yet only lead them of being biased.

This article should kindly be removed.

Hi, and thanks for your feedback. We have no intentions of removing this article.

Considering your use of the term "victory" to describe a flurry of corporate announcements from all of the hardware manufacturers, you may want to visit our System Wars forum, where that sort of mindset thrives. Aside from the awards ceremony, there were no "winners" or "losers" at GDC. Just businesses, doing what they can to earn your trust and, ideally, your money.
