i think they called knight the arkham trilogy conclusion i.e. the third game

They excluded it from canon yes. Even though it told a better story. And had a Bane that was actually Bane and not The Incredible Dumb.

Seen as a filler game, the bastard B-Team. KOTOR 2.

Do not understand why everyone is so resistant to me being right. Very odd.

then you have ghost praising spiderman and tlou. strange times

It's gameplay was the exact same barring the detective stuff added.

Only thing I like is 1. The setting which reminds me of Batman Returns, and pretty sure that was deliberate 2. Bane, my fav character who in almost all forms of media outside the comics is terrible 3. The Joker in this is actually more interesting than Rocksteadys

As a game, with gameplay, it's a one and done. Something never ever returned to, and I typically just google the cutscene to say randomly on the internet "hey look, This Bane isn't shit"

Also a game that gets looked down upon as a bastard compared to Rocksteady, with them seemingly sharing that attitude. Which made their downfall all the sweeter.

i think they called knight the arkham trilogy conclusion i.e. the third game

was never a huge fan of the combat but did really like asylum. didn't care much for the series once it went open world.

personally don't hold it against rocksteady that their style got ripped off so regularly. only game i can think of that did a good job with it was shadow of mordor. spiderman the opposite.

Yes. It's poor. I finished writing the script for my Arkham City critique, but narrating it is proving difficult. The first quarter or so took twenty-three minutes, by which point my throat was dry and I kept reading the same lines again and again. Will just record my voice sentence by sentence in Reaper. Hope WB an YouTube don't copyright-rape me. Will definitely make a second version for a file host like Mega.

sounds like critiquing the combat is more difficult than the combat

edit: also cup i'm pretty sure ive seen you praise origins

started jedi survivor on gamepass last night. it sure is pretty.

there's a forced walking section right at the start but it's bearable because 1. it's the intro, 2. it's over quickly 3. makes contextual sense as you're in handcuffs and 4. quickly flits to you unshackled and straight into combat, which is nicely done.

feels like a more matured version of fallen order's formula. got the same cinematic presentation and climbing / platforming style of uncharted just this time of a higher standard than the first game, and mixed with basic lock on, dodge, parry type combat which in very simplistic terms vaguely resembles souls games, but not really

one of the most gangsta knockouts ever in ufc.

ufc 300 main event. pereira gets kicked in the balls, ref steps into give him a time out, pereira doesn't flinch, doesn't break stare from hill, pushes the ref back and then kaboom. first round ko.

hardest hitter in the ufc.

former heavyweight champ francis ngannou scored 129,161 units on the powerkube machine, the ufc record since 2017. dana white at the time said

“His punches are equivalent to 96 horsepower. That’s equal to getting hit by a Ford Escort going as fast as it can and it’s more powerful than a 12-pound sledgehammer from full force overhead,"

then pereira, the light heavyweight champ. obliterates it with a 191,796.

Those with the money to make the biggest and best games are also the most creatively bankrupt.... Truly disappointing.

yeah i was feeling the same thing but couldn't articulate as succinctly. feels a bit like the hunger games out there at the minute unless your a behemoth.

Can't wait for Sony to get back to what they are good at. Don't mind the odd live service game thrown in but they need to go back to what they do.

What if youre not the person they want to make games for anymore?

another good point. been increasingly feeling this way for a while now, particularly this gen
