@millionsedge: I think what people worry about is that this is the new normal for $60. I remember thinking multiple times that I wasn't willing to play a Battlefield game with less than 14 maps at launch, then it was 12, now it is 8. I'm finally not playing Battlefield anymore.

@NTenseify: The larger issue with the demo is that you'd pretty much seen the entire game at that stage imo. There was an expectation that the demo was just a sample, not all of the thing.

@Mogan: Good thread. As someone who contributed to this article, the answer is that a score is just one part of a game. Your internal score will often vary from an official one and we try to get stuff out for everyone. Great games have bad qualities and bad games have good stuff in them. I personally loved Far Cry New Dawn and make video on the audience, not our own review process. Art is very subjective. You'd have to pay me to want to hang the Mona Lisa in my home.

@silv3rst0rm: Man. I love controllers for everything but shooting, which sucks because I play a ton of shooters. The mouse is so much better than thumbsticks but still feel like controlling a game with QWERTY is the worst. It's especially bad for any title that includes vehicles.

@The_evil_Nemesi: It's interesting. The weapons in PUBG look cartoonish but have strong sound design and quick TTK. They also appeal to kids which I can attest to standing on playgrounds over the weekend.

@Uncle_Rell: Wanted to see how the final circles compare from different takes on Battle Royale. I still think Fortnite has the biggest skill ramp at the end.

@yngsten: Also keep in mind game design doesn't follow the rules of conventional reality. A long time ago we asked Visceral why there were no bipods in Battlefield Hardline and they said it was because they needed an extra animation slot for players to lean out windows. I'm not sure Wildlands code could even support that many players.

@3partan341: Considering Wildland's first DLC was MONSTER TRUUUUUUUUCKS YEAAAA! Not sure they can do any worse. Still feel like Wildlands could have a, "how do you want to play this game" toggle at the start.
