Yes! Peter Barthlow reviewed the game 4 months prior to its release back in 2000. The game released in June 2000 and probably just to gey his name in the list of reviewers he reviewed the game in Feb 2000 and he gave it a rating of 6.4, while making other amazing mistakes such as he got the name of one of the Main characters WRONG!! and that numerous times, not only that he didnt even knew the battle system correctly.. Want more? He even got the story line wrong!! amazing isnt it? Why did Gamespot vested its trust in a reviewer like that who probably never even played the game!! Or didnt spend enough time to even remember the name of one of the main characters correctly. When you say no flaming you also dont flame the players. Kindly read some of the comments on the review page of the game.

It is my humble request in your kind consideration to please change the rating of the game of 6.4 as against 4000+ ratings of 8.5+.

Get it reviewed again while highlighting the fact that the game did not receive enough attention due to poor marketing.

I wont agree to sit calmly unfortunately. Specially i cant tolerate reviews by someone who wrote his review in Feb 2000 when the game actually released in June 2000. Also by someone who names the character incorrectly and who is seemingly a fake reviewer who just wanted his name to get into the house of reveiwers. Gamespot should correct this as it can pretty much affect its goodwill. I will wrote to the mods now. I will get it changed i will talk to someone who has a great influence over resolving issues like that.

@valgaav_219: thats what i do too. But you cant ignore things that are unjustified. A particular reviewer's opinion, which is noted worldwide and is perceived with the label of Gamespot when its not, like you said, hits the image of the game which is loved by thousands but is looked down upon by millions because of One person's rating. In my world something as unjustifiable as this shall by all mean deserves to be corrected for the sake of fair presentation.

Did you know just because ratings are too loo possibly sony couldnt even realise that there are many die hard fans of the game possibly hundreds of thousands who desire a remake of the game.

The story line was superb, the graphics were great and the best of its era, despite of various negativities. But Now its treated a trash unfortunately. Sad story huh..

This is basically a question to those who have dug deeper into the connected reports. Does it have any connection with Sorrow and any other character from Snake Eater or MGS3 story line at all? One guy from youtube did some research and found the game habing deep connections to MGS3 which will be unveiled in the game. Also is it only an online game as Hideo hinted on the game focussing on making or forging connections with players around the globe.

@SoNin360: so they are inexpensive at your place? Here they are still expensive, thus the same became premise to my opinion.

This is the same processor that will be installed in next Chinese rumored console i.e. Subar. Cant wait to see if all of this will be true.
