All very old games so it's not like it equates to producing in modern times. Sony could put Uncharted, Last of Us, Littlebigplanet, God of War, Horizon, Ghost and GT on the Xbox store and all would be the top ten or twenty or whatever games available.

It's all about power and control. It's the communist way. If they can successfully build and sell a new Russian video game console then they can eventually ban the sales of Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft consoles.

I played Sea of Thieves back when it came out in 2018 and found the gameplay to be kinda boring. I know they've done a lot of updates since but I don't plan on buying it again.

I understand a third party developed game like Helldivers 2 being only on Sony consoles. Sony published the game, Arrowhead developed it. Mutual relationship. But it makes no sense for games like FF7 which is published AND developed by Square to be exclusive to any hardware.

Because exclusivity works. Look at the Switch (except for the pirates 😄)

Yeah I'm just not really a fan of third party published games being hardware exclusive. I thought it was such BS when Rise of the Tomb Raider was published by Square, developed by Crystal Dynamics yet exclusive to Xbox One at the time of its release. Supposedly MS paid $10 million for it.

Most outlet informed a rumor of $100m. $10m is way too cheap as most Tomb Raider fans is on PlayStation and Square would be insane to agree to that deal.

Not that hard to understand. Sony is selling a console, wants user engaged on that console. If game is available somewhere else then its less reason to own a PS (or Xbox, Nintendo).

Oh yeah you're right. Idk how I got that mixed up. Ehhh memory is a little foggy I guess, that was literally 10 years ago now that the exclusivity was announced lol. Hard to believe 10 years since 2014 already.

I played the demo and it's like a less inspired version of Fire Emblem. I would suggest playing the three available FE games on the Switch before playing this game (Engage, Three Houses and FE8 on the GBA app)

It's really not. Different executives with different goals and vision. The exectutives today want different things out of the market than those when Shawn Layden or Jack Tretton were there.

This is the same Sony for the past six years.

Weird how the people I mentioned haven't been there.

That can't be right, we were told that when Sony buys studios, they care for and nurture them like no other...

Turns out, it's more like they offer unwanted heavy petting, while rubbing their nipples.

The old Sony. Not the new Sony

This is the same Sony.😂
