Nomura titles are generally not good. FFVII is a very rare exception and even it has problems. Part 2 looks to go completely off the rails. FFXVI is exclusive for an alleged six months. I don't think that's a long wait at all.

Anyways it looks to be a classic battle of Western vs Japanese development this year: Starfield vs Nomura Final Fantasy. I don't think it's any competition at all. Starfield will easily be GOTY this year if it indeed comes out and I think it will humiliate Square Enix.

I don't give a flying **** about Sony and their corrupt business tactics and awful system that is the PS5 (seriously probably the worst system of all time). But Nintendo has somehow pushed themselves into a market where they don't belong.

The Switch is a piece of cheap shit, it's a handheld and it shouldn't be allowed in the home console market being that weak for that price. Handhelds always outsell consoles unless it's a Sony unit.

I wouldn't care if a PS5 was glued, dragged into Fort Nox and came out with 10 million dollars I still wouldn't pay 10 cents for one because Sony is a disgrace to gamers and everything games stand for.

God of War and Horizon are Photo Mode games, not games I would play expecting to be entertained by gameplay because the gameplay for Ragnarök is painful. I would much rather explore planets in Starfield than that linear, Souls Light God of War.

Don't you think it would be nice if Microsoft had the opportunity to do a dirty deal behind a door overseas where the FTC can't as easily observe? This is what Sony does with Square Enix.

Last year they slowly took almost every Square Enix game off of Game Pass, Sony doesn't allow Square to release FFVII: Remake on XBOX because then fans wouldn't have a reason to get a Playstation unless they wanted to be stuck with dull third person popcorn games like Horizon and the Last of Us. It looks like Square is also not releasing Final Fantasy XVI on XBOX, but PC. How surprising. Now to add to that last are all of the OLDER pixel Final Fantasy titles.

Before when XBOX ONE was tanking Sony didn't care if FF was on the machine or not, but now that it's building momentum with Series X|S it seems like a huge issue. The hypocrisy of Sony and their undisclosed deals is getting old, and if Microsoft is indeed sued, I believe they will expose Sony's double standards and Jim Ryan's frivolous lies.

God of War is a short and Red Dead is a full-blown film, but I've beaten them both and Red Dead is also a more enjoyable game.
