@id0ntkn0w7: I'm a huge Souls fan, but Ds2 is the weakest of every Souls game. Far Cry 4 is pure junk, Bayonetta 2 is average, Shad of Mordor is an absolutely embarrassing pick for GOTY and The Evil Within is also pretty mediocre. You literally proved my point. 2014 is the worst year in game history.
2016 gets second place. Uncharted 4 was the best game that year, really? It had Dark Souls 3, which was third best game of the generation for me. But still crappy year.
Not a single GOTY contender so far. Ratchet & Clank and Returnal are the best games of the year so far but 2021 would be a terrible year of gaming if one of those two end up as GOTY. Shame since 2020 was one of the best years in gaming history (TLOU2, GoT, Hades, FF7R, P5R and more) and 2022 already has multiple GOTY contenders lined up (Elden Ring, GOW5, FHW)
@doubtless1: The Last of Us Part II is actually the greatest game of the generation and top five of all time. If anything it is underrated anything below MC score of 99 doesn't do a masterpiece like that justice. Monster Hunter on the other hand is weebo garbage, with one of the worst , clunky combat systems in a AAA game, last-gen graphics, zero depth, non-existent story and heck, they couldn't even implement co-op properly.
@Ice-Cube: Probably not, Monster Hunter World was supposed to be co-op but there's hardly anything you can actually do in co-op. Just waste your time being solo for 80% of the mission instead of letting you do everything co-op
