Joke Post? :?Wow, even gaming Journalists with YEARS in the industry, like Respected Mr. Dave Halverson said something about Nintendo's behaviour.

I don't see it happening. MS is aiming for profits. Droping their system's price on the day it's biggest seller launches doesn't make sense.
[QUOTE="Mrcod11"][QUOTE="pminooei"]and no sony will not go broke if it lower it's price but sony is a HUGE compay bigger than MS

Only a noob doesn't know that Sony>>> MS in terms of seize.
I don't if it's the confidence or the "beat-this-list-Motha*****" delivery but something in this post really made me lol. :lol:And by the way, even if the system becomes cheaper to make , sony would be more intrested in making profits than gaining market share.
[QUOTE="Nex_Ownage"]Most likely? SCE.
They are losing tons of money, the PS3 is a disaster and I don't think Sony will tolerate 2 billion losses annually.
If things don't change for SCE in the next couple of years, I wouldn't be surprised if sony sold them.
choasgod
2 billion annually ?
SONY will only lose $488 million this year ...
AND considering that it will make Blu-ray the domiate industry standard and SONY will proberly make around $100 - $150 million off Blu-ray sales / royalties this year. Thats what a $338 million loss this year -> profit next year ...
As for MS dropping out, could happen, but not likely. Not when they have Halo 3 and GTA IV in the same year.
GTA IV is a pretty big game, people would get the 360 version over the PS3 version.CJL13
I think people would've gone with the 360 version just because it's on a system that's $300 cheaper.
but it seems that wasn't enough for MS. they really want to end sony this time.
