I may have missed this while browsing through the various previews and reviews out there. Is it possible to force the Switch to display at 720p while docked to my 1080p display? Resolution isn't that important to me and I'd happily lower it for smoother gameplay.

I just came back to this site as a result of all of this. It has been four years and my profile is like I never left. Awesome that I didn't lose anything. Since hearing everything and watching the videos I have moved on from hating Gamespot. It was dumb of me in the first place as it was bad management's fault and not the editorial team. I'll still be at giantbomb mostly though (Jimbo7676). Good to be back. What happened to Unions?! I was so active on the Gamespot Live Union. No idea where to go now :(.

Same here bud. Same here.
Hawking speaks the truth. Death probably feels exactly how it felt before we were born. I fear it and would love to have the bible or something by my side to comfort me when the time comes.
Waiting for the full game.Cute_Red_Panda
That's the only thing holding me back from buying a PS3 right now. Hopefully, by the time it's released, the PS3 will have dropped down to $250-$300 (USD) and come packed with Dual Shock 3 controllers as standard.
Looks like it will be great... Looks like the website wont be 100% finished for awhile though. I've been coming to Gamespot for close to 10 years now... Once giantbomb.com fully launches I see no reason to ever visit here again. ghostranger
This sums up my feelings entirely.
[QUOTE="PikaPichu"][QUOTE="ShenlongBo"]For everyone who likes to say things like, "that's not how the game is meant to be played," I offer these two words:
Prove it.

It's preference. I play a lot of racing games and I like to race as realistically as possible (well, aside from the bananas, shrooms, shells and etc). I prefer victory result from taking tight lines, sliding just enough around corners and a bit of luck - not this nonsensical sliding left-and-right-on-a-straight thing that's plaguing Mario Kart's Wifi.
Luck, eh? How fun.The only thing plaguing Mario Kart's Wi-Fi are players who quit because they don't like how they're getting their asses handed to them. The thing plaguing competetive gaming in general is people who like to make excuses for their losses and hurl insults at the players they just can't beat.
Cool with me, though. You keep on making the excuses, I'll keep on taking the W's ;)
What's W's? (it's been a while since I've been on these boards)
What's wrong with quitting when you're losing a race? It happens all the time in games like Warcraft 3 and Starcraft. Rather than waste your opponent's time, why not just end it early so that they (and yourself) can move onto their next match?
