Hi. I have 12900K stock

32 GB 2x16 GB DDR4 3600mhz

Palit Gamerock Pro OC rtx 4090

1300W Seasonic Platinum Prime

Aorus Elite DDR4 Z690

Windows 11 2H22. Updated new nvidia drivers.

I used 1080P,DLSS ULTRA PERFORMANCE,RT ULTRA,rest ultra for testing fps.

I am talking about bottleneck or something is screwed or dont trust youtube gameplays. Last time i explain.

I go to 1080P + ULTRA PERFORMANCE DLSS,and my fps stay the same. 90-100fps in that scene.

gpu usage 50%. Screen:

I compared with someone with 12700K ,3080 ti and he have here 110-120fps on the same settings. No bottleneck.

So why he have on the same place 110-120 fps and 80-90% usage? i have 90-100fps and gpu usage 50%and less fps fps than 12700K and 3080 ti on the same settings.

1080P Rt ultra,dlss performance

0:15 second

Last question. Now i have Rtx 4090.

I have an question.Software used to record the gameplay:

• Mirillis Action / Bandicam / MSI Afterburner .

If someone use that programs to record it will raise gpu load on screen display?

I ask because someone here have 85-90% usage on FC6 on 1440P when i get only 60%. And other youtubers with 12900K and 4090 have the same 60% usage on 1440P.

Link with that high gpu usage ,strange:

its not ram,not oc not.

The guy was recording the video via the GPU which led to a higher load?

Palit Gamerock Pro OC rtx 4090

1300W Seasonic Platinum Prime

Aorus Elite DDR4 Z690 bios updated

Windows 11 2H22. Updated new nvidia drivers.

I have an question about Watch Dogs Legion. Yesterday i launched game ,and loaded level.

Then i left game running ,character was standing on the same place.Game was running. Then i go to bed and start using laptop. After moment ,i saw black flicker on monitor screen and game minimalized to windows. Not crashed, but minimalized. I was think it crashed ,but game just minimalized. I dont have any programs in background all was closed and not interfering.

My question is. Is my graphic card ok? I dont oc.

Like i said game itself minimalized ,not crashed. And no driver crash in event logs.

Why i have usage 60% on 1440P RT ULTRA,DLSS QUALITY? I have 12900K + DDR4

I compared with someone and he have 80% usage. He have 13600K + DDR4. Tested exactly the same place.

Someone said:"I have to say a few words about this as I also had this issue (black screen and TDR error at idle) with an Asus Strix OC:

I am 100% sure, that this issue is at least partially related to the card hardware or the GPU itself for the following reasons:

I have returned the Asus Strix that I had this issue with and since then also had a Gigabyte Gaming OC as well as the NVidia FE in the very same PC and have not had this issue with the latter two cards at all, the setup being exactly the same otherwise. I had even tried the 12VHPWR adapter, that came with the Gigabyte card, with the Asus card to rule anything but the card out, but of course that didn't help for the Asus card.

I had tried dozens of things like you guys tried here in the thread, I tried with three different PSUs, I tried the card in two completely different PCs (AMD and Intel), with ReBAR on or off, with DOCP on or off. This is in my opinion all a waste of time. If you have this issue in idle, then you have a card that has an hardware issue and you probably better return or RMA it.

The only thing that "worked" for the Asus card was setting the power management mode to maximum performance, like many of you here have also experienced, which leads to the card consuming 60-70W in idle and constantly running at the boost clock rate instead of 210 MHz when idle.

I didn't need to set the Gigabyte card to maximum performance in order for it not to crash, nor do I have to do that for the 4090 FE.

Maybe this issue can be cured by a BIOS update or a driver update, but for sure the root cause is related to the card itself."

So it can be my card is faulty , if root cause is related to the card itself?
