A little Portal RTX Remix...
The real-time RT lighting is gorgeous.
@AcidTango: That Monolith engine (LithTech) was amazing, still looks decent. Used for a whole mess of games, too.
@warmblur: @AcidTango: You too are some real gamers. You guys finished so many games in the past two months meanwhile I'm still on the Uncharted collection. What version of Doom 3 did you play AcidTango?
@AcidTango: Oh interesting, I saw people say that to play Doom 3 BFG edition instead because it supports modern resolutions and refresh rates. Are you using a flashlight mod too?
@AcidTango: Okay I'll think about whether its worth playing Doom 3 OG over BFG edition
Anyway I finished Uncharted Lost Legacy last night. I like it more than Uncharted 4 and I found it wasn't directed by Neil Druckmann. What a surprise /s. Lost Legacy is much more consistent in its fun action packed encounters compared to UC4.
@uninspiredcup:
I agree the visuals are amazing. And I love how indie companies are giving us old school shooters again unlike the worthless shit AAA game companies. How cool would it be if Half-Life 1 was remade in the Source 2 engine? Or even Half-Life 2 as well?
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a game that could be very challenging on hard difficulty but if you learn its rules and tricks, it will be quite fun
Replaying BotW on PC. Looks good, runs great. Only bummer is that TotK will feel like a bit of a downgrade technically.
@ConanTheStoner: This looks tight on PC.
How is the emulation? Run fine or frame rate problem galore and visual bugs?
@uninspiredcup:
Surprisingly great.
This is my third go at emulating it over the years. Previous times were stutter fests and frame drops everywhere, dropped it immediately.
This time?
In 50+ hrs of play I've had one instance of stutter - first time shot by a Guardian laser, lasted like a second.
And one instance of frame tanking - On the stone road to Akkala, dropped to like 15 frames for about 10 seconds. Can't even repeat the issue.
Otherwise smooth, no visual bugs either.
Did follow some Youtube bros latest tutorial for setup. Only cranked up some of the settings from there.
@ConanTheStoner: Yea, don't know shit about the hardware side. But when it comes to emulation Nintendo has been the easiest and best to emulate by a landslide, at least with their other systems.
@uninspiredcup:
Definitely, which is great. Love their games, the systems tho, mang.
Not sure how far they've gotten with sorting Switch emulation. BotW fortunately had a WiiU version, probably why this works so well.
Been playing some E.Y.E,it's one of those games that I like to go back to once in a while.
This game is so fucking weird. Might go back and check it out myself.
Yeah Prime is looking nice. Based on what I've seen, seems they really respected the original art too.

Just played a puzzle game called Superliminal. Reminds me a lot of Antichamber, has some Portal ideas in there too, but with an interesting twist. All of the puzzles are about toying with perspective/scale. Think they could have done a whole lot more with such an interesting idea, but still a cool little game for what it is.
Definitely on the easier side of puzzle games, about as challenging as Portal. Didn't get hardstuck once. Only got held up a couple of times. On one of them, just don't think the puzzle was a good one. The other time, just me being dumb lol.
Yeah, Prime 1 and 2, along with Super, top atmosphere in those games. Was one of the aspects of Dread that didn't land with me.
Love the music/ambience in that Sunken Frigate area.
I was gonna wait for Prime 2 Remastered but the rumors claim it's just a straight Wii port and I already own the Trilogy, so I'm playing it on PC with Primehack
