@judaspete: Awesome! I was looking at the Ryzen 7 2700 earlier! I saw a CPU MOBO Combo with Ram for Less than $400 on Amazon. I'll probably go that route!
Thanks!!!

@Bond007uk: is the 5800X the best CPU for the Performance to Price point? Thanks?!
Hey All!
So, I've been out of touch with the Hardware Market for a while and I'm really needing to Finally upgrade.
I'm still rockin an i5 2500K CPU with DDR3 1333 RAM and a GTX 1070. My GPU I'm gonna have to live with but I at least need a new CPU/MOBO & RAM.
The real kicker is, I have less than $400 for a Combo upgrade. Can someone please give a good recommendation? Maybe even a Link? Doesn't matter to me if it's Intel or AMD.
Appreciate it !!!
PS - Gaming would be the Focus...
I havnt felt the need to OC since P4 CPU's. Then was just because I was playing around. My last atholon64-3400 board/CPU wasnt stable enough to get past 30%--reality 10% / but my new Q6600 - I havnt found it necassary. My board is a P5E3 Deluxe, and it has very easy-brainless OC bios designed to give certain pre-programed OC perameters designed around the Q6600. If I simply tab down to 3.0ghz - poof, it auto adjusts the voltages-timing etc, 3.4 and a couple more. I can OC 3.0ghz easily with stock cooling - but again, didnt see any real Performance boost. It also has a nice AutoCPUConfig that OC as necassary at stable figs when performance lags.
[QUOTE="bedram793"]I have that Dell Inspiron 530, but I have the 8600GT. I have that, and I run crysis about an average of 60 FPS on 1024x768 on medium settings, and with a mix of low, medium, and high I get an average of about 35 FPS on 1024x768. The rest of my specs are in my sig. musclesforcier
Take a screen shot.
I can average those figures too @ 1400x900 / high settings / 4xoversampling / dx9 though :)
