Only thing I miss about early OS' are the tiny Footprint and RAM requirements. Overall, the latest Operating Systems have evolved excitingly well!!

IMO - what makes it the "Best Year in 10 Years" are the Gamers trying to come back into gaming.
Problem is, not a lot of interesting options for Gamers to come back for. Gaming Culture is Sad these days.....
Where's the Question??
I have a 7600x CPU with 32GB DDR5 RAM with PCIe SSD EVO SSDs but still rockin my 1070ti EVGA Reference GPU.
Overall, I don't have any issues with any current games at 1080p. Sure, I do sacrifice some graphical options to adapt for performance but I'm curious if upgrading to a 4070 would be worth it for the $500+ Price Tag? Am I really missing out on that much Graphical Wowness these days??
Thanks for the feedback!!
@PfizersaurusRex: A very late response to something that isn't really important but I ended up getting a 7600x/Asus TUF B550 Plus-Wifi/32GB Corsair DDR5-5600, all for $578.00
Couldn't be more hyped! Thanks again for the advice while back!!
Any idea if there is something out there that makes Win-10 work or look like Win-7? The main thing I wish Win-10 Start Menu worked like Win 7's..
I'm still rockin an i5-2500k that I bought 10 years ago along with a GTX 1070 that was gifted to me.
Just yesterday though I was finally able to upgrade to the 7600x/Asus Tuf mobo/32GB Corsair DDR5-5600 that should arrive tomorrow!
However, my 2500k still has some Game in it. I'll probably turn it into a HTPC build or something...
Oh - and my Enermax 485watt PSU is 15 years old and still working Marvelous! I really hope it works on my New hardware too!!!
I just ordered a New Ryzen 5 7600x / Asus TUF mobo / 32GB Corsair DDR5-5600 - arrives tomorrow.
Just wondering if any of you have had any Buyers Remorse with the 7600x or is it what you were hoping for?
A few years ago I decided instead of upgrading my Gaming Desktop to buy an Alienware R3 Laptop. My reasoning was that it was plenty powerful enough for the games I play, has an option for an external GPU, I could Video Out to a Larger Screen, separate KB&M and would have the option to be completely mobile.
However, 2 years later, the CPU overheated and fried - leaving my only option to replace the entire Mobo that costs at least $400-500, which is also a lot of work and hope it doesn't happen again.
For that Price, I was able to just buy a new GPU for my Desktop and lived with my i5 2500k until I could afford an upgrade.
Point is, I'll never go that route again unless I have money fall out of my Asshole...
